World Waveski Surfing Association (WWSA)

The World Waveski Surfing Association (WWSA) is the governing body for all international waveski activity. Headed up by President Gus Presa (ESP), the WWSA are working tirelessly to push the sport forward and establish firm partnerships with the likes of the International Canoe Federation (ICF).

The WWSA sanctions World Cup and bi-annual World Championship waveski competitions; its categories include: Open, Women, Veterans, Grand Masters, Masters, Seniors, New Age, Juniors and Cadets.

The 2018 World Championship will be held in Spain.

It's an exciting time to be involved in the sport with the emergence of many young talented riders pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Waveski has enormous potential as a paddlesport both for able-bodied athletes at elite and recreational level, but also attracting athletes with a disability looking to pursue adaptive surfing.
