Chris Parker has revolutionized the way SUP paddling is delivered to the world. As the founder of SUP Racer and a live announcer, Chris’ dedication to the sport and it’s growth is unrivalled.

Founded in 2011, SUP Racer has gone from strength to strength with it now being the worldwide online news hub for all things SUP as well as a one stop shop for world rankings, results, calendars, videos and more. With almost 42,000 likes on Facebook and 28,000 followers on Instagram, SUP Racers's reach is enormous and has unquestionably played a pivotal role in the quick growth of SUP as a worldwide sport.

In addition to being the writer and owner of SUP Racer, Chris is also a live announcer. In 2017 he commentated at the ISA SUP World Championships in Denmark and the Battle of the Paddle in California. These are two of the biggest events on the SUP racing calendar.

As a world class paddler himself, Chris provides an in depth view of the sport to all of his followers. The content he writes is always well informed, but he ensures it is fresh and exciting which emulates what the whole sport is about.

Known as the ‘bossman,’ the success of SUPracer is a testament to his hard work and passion for the sport. As a result, he is a deserving nominee for the 2017 Media Professional award.
