Sponsorship news: Deuter backpacks support World Paddle Awards

Deuter, award-winning rucksack manufacturer and international outdoor brand, pledge 30 backpacks to the WPA.
With roots in Augsburg, Germany (host of the 2014 Awards ceremony), Deuter is the WPA's latest sponsor.
Each urban backpack will be filled with many goodies, surprises and a copy of Living The Best Day Ever – the expedition autobiography by deceased South African kayak-raft guide Hendri Coetzee, see review on Sportscene.
Dating back to 1898, Deuter produces bags and accessories for all kinds of outdoor pursuits, adventure sports and touring-expeditions including hiking, climbing, winter sports and trekking. Leading by innovation and technology, its range also includes sleeping bags, hydration packs, rain and transport units and cycling accessories.
Backpacks will be given to each of the award winners at the ceremony in May.
Public competition
